" Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses.

Your Reading Is Magic program and volunteers are heroes every time they walk into a school or library.  Using little miniature horses to inspire young children to read is most creative.  Congratulations on your wonderful charity, spirit and service to your community.

"Keep up the wonderful work you do.  I often tell people that Lassie was the first therapy dog--the first to be allowed in hospitals more than 50 years ago!

Joe Camp and Canine Movie Star Benji Team Up

With Gentle Carousel

Therapy Horse Rainbow makes a new friend with canine movie star Benji.

See Joe Camp's Blog about Gentle Carousel

BENJI, the actual star of Benji Off The Leash! flew from California (and Tennessee) with film writer, producer, director, bestselling author and man behind the canine superstar, Joe Camp and his wonderful wife Kathleen to help Gentle Carousel.

Benji was just named Oprah's Favorite Onscreen Animal

"Lassie may be a classic choice, but this time around, Benji edged her out by a hair. While we appreciate Lassie and Timmy's bond, Benji is a stray with serious spunk. He may not have any pedigree, but Benji gets the job done. In his first film—released in 1974—Benji uses his keen canine senses to help save children from kidnappers. Plus, this pound puppy inspires audiences to open their hearts and homes to mutts of all shapes and sizes."

Joe Camp is one of the most successful independent filmmakers ever and he did it the hard way, with G-rated movies and no help from Hollywood.  Joe's inspirational story of a small time ad guy who turned wholesale Hollywood rejection into the worldwide phenomenon of Benji will make you believe in your own dreams.
