Gentle Carousel's Reading Is Magic program is grateful for it's partnership with Barnes & Noble Booksellers.

 Over 1200 children attended Gentle Carousel's Reading Is Magic Library Programs and met "Magic" in the Summer of 2009!

Gentle Carousel's Reading Is Magic Program in the news.

Making new fans!  It is always a surprise to see a horse inside a store.

Flame will be working as "The Island Stallion" during the 2009-2010 school year.

 

The horses in Gentle Carousel's Reading Is Magic program look like the horse characters from loved children's books

"Angel" is only 28 inches tall and is part of the Reading Is Magic program.

 

 

Misty look-a-like "Feather" is also only 27 inches tall.

 

      

 "Hollywood", the 28 inch tall donkey is now part of the Reading Is Magic program.

 

    

 "Moonbeam" is 27 inches tall and loves visiting children.

 

"Eclipse" will be visiting schools and libraries this year.

.   

 

  

We are so happy that "Flame", 2008 Eastern Championship 28" and Under Sr. Stallion Champion is now part of our Reading Is Magic program. 


"Circus" stands out in a crowd when he visits a school or library!

 

"Sunstorm" is a favorite in our Reading Is Magic program.

 

 "Stardust" is a look-a-like for Sunka Wakan (shoon-kah wah-kahn), the legendary stallion in Great Spirit Horse or Marguerite Henry's San Domingo,The Medicine Hat Stallion.  He even has the same crystal blue eyes!

 

  

 "Windy" is ready for her own hugs and kisses.
