Therapy horse Valor is now a first responder with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. As part of her duties, Valor will comfort those in need during traumatic events. She will also be an "integral part of reading programs and community outreach events" with the LASD.
"Valor will serve as a ‘face’ of law enforcement and does so while upholding the Sheriff’s Department motto of “A Tradition of Service.”
